Need a Saudi visa photo online? Upload a recent portrait and IDPhotoBy prepares it for the Saudi tourist e-Visa applied for at visitsaudi.com (the official Saudi eVisa portal, visa.visitsaudi.com) — a 200×200 px JPEG, 5–100 KB, on a plain white background — with the Saudi e-Visa document already selected. It is free — no payment required.

This is the online e-Visa channel: you upload one digital photograph with your application. It is a digital-only requirement — nothing to print — and the size and file rules are exact, so this page walks through them below.

Saudi e-Visa photo requirements

According to the official Saudi eVisa portal (Visit Saudi) requirements, your digital photograph must meet this checklist.

  • 200×200 pixels, plain white background — a square image on a white background with no pattern.
  • Face 70–80% of the photo — a close-up of the face and top of the shoulders, so the face takes up 70–80% of the frame, or 1.4″ × 1.6″ from the chin to the crown of the head.
  • Face centred, eyes straight to the camera — the head square to the camera, with the face and eyes looking straight ahead so both ears and both sides of the face are clearly visible.
  • Neutral portrait pose — a calm, relaxed, straight-on portrait.
  • No shadows and only you in the frame — no shadows on the face or the background, and the photo must show only the person to be photographed — no other people and no other objects.
  • No more than six months old — use a current photo so it looks like you today.

Saudi visa photo size, file size and format

The Saudi eVisa portal states two exact things about the digital file: the image must be 200 × 200 in width and height, and the image size must be from 5 to 100 KB. It is a square photo you upload online, not a print.

  • Pixel size — 200 × 200 px (a square photo).
  • File size — between 5 KB and 100 KB. IDPhotoBy keeps the file inside this band, never below 5 KB and never above 100 KB.
  • File format — IDPhotoBy outputs a standard JPEG. The portal states the pixel and file-size limits but does not list accepted extensions, so use a JPEG and confirm it uploads.

On the physical scale the 200×200 px square is a 2×2 in (51×51 mm) crop, but for the e-Visa you upload the digital JPEG — there is nothing to print.

How to make a free Saudi visa photo online

IDPhotoBy crops and resizes the photo you already have — it does not take the picture for you. Take a clear, front-facing photo first, then:

  1. Take a photo at home — a phone or camera in even light, facing the camera, against a plain wall.
  2. Upload it — the Saudi e-Visa document is already selected.
  3. Let IDPhotoBy crop and resize — it centres your head, crops to the 200×200 px square, and places you on a plain white background.
  4. Preview and download — check it, then download your free JPEG and upload it to your visitsaudi.com e-Visa application.

The free Saudi visa photo maker doubles as a resizer and size checker: it formats your existing photo to the size, shape and file limits the application expects.

We format your own photo — no AI edits, no retouching

IDPhotoBy sizes, crops and positions the photo you upload so it matches the official Saudi e-Visa spec, and places you on the required plain white background. It does not retouch your face, beautify you or generate a new likeness — the e-Visa needs a true, current likeness, and an edited face can get an application rejected.

We also make no acceptance promises. No online tool can promise a visa photo will be accepted — the file is prepared to the published requirements, and the Saudi eVisa authority makes the final decision. What you get is a correctly sized JPEG, free, with no paid "studio" upsell.

Head covering, hijab and headwear in a Saudi visa photo

On the Saudi eVisa portal, head wear is generally not permitted. Exceptions are possible, especially for religious reasons, provided the face is visible from the lower tip of the chin to the forehead — keep your whole face clear, with no shadow across it.

IDPhotoBy crops and positions your uploaded photo; it does not add or remove a head covering. Take the photo the way you intend to submit it, then let the tool size it to the 200×200 px square.

Requirements can change. Check the official Saudi eVisa application portal (visa.visitsaudi.com) before submitting, and follow its Photo Specifications as the final authority on size, file format and background.
