Need a Pakistan passport photo? For the DGIP online passport application, the photo you upload is a colour picture, 350×467 pixels, saved as a JPEG, on a plain white background, no larger than 3 MB. Upload a recent portrait here and IDPhotoBy resizes and crops it to that exact format. It is free — no payment required.
The Directorate General of Immigration & Passports (DGIP) — the authority that issues the Pakistan passport — runs an online passport application where you upload your own photo. For that online upload, the published photo requirements are:
- 350×467 pixels — the exact size of the uploaded picture.
- JPEG / JPG file — a colour picture, not black and white.
- Plain white background — a clean, even white.
- Up to 3 MB — the file must not be larger than 3 MB.
IDPhotoBy formats the photo you upload to match; this Pakistan passport size photo maker also checks and resizes a photo you already have.
Beyond the DGIP rules above, the usual passport-photo habits help:
- Face the camera straight on, head and shoulders centred, whole face visible.
- Keep a neutral expression, eyes open, mouth closed.
- Use even, soft lighting — no harsh shadows on your face or the white background.
- If you wear glasses, use clear lenses and avoid glare.
- Head coverings worn for religious reasons are generally fine if your full face stays visible.
These are general good-photo tips, not extra DGIP rules; the official DGIP requirements are only the size, format, colour, white background and 3 MB limit above.
IDPhotoBy resizes and crops the photo you upload to the 350×467 pixel DGIP online format and makes sure it sits on the plain white background the requirements ask for. It does not retouch, smooth or edit your face — your features are left exactly as they are.
We make no acceptance promise — no tool can. The file is prepared to the DGIP online-application requirements, and DGIP decides.
Requirements can change — check the official DGIP application portal and its current instructions before you submit; it is the final authority.
