How we compiled this page

  • Sources. Government agencies, laws and official reports come first. Prices come from the seller’s or the authority’s own page. A news report is used only when the authority publishes no figure itself; those rows are marked “Reported by media”.
  • Checks. Every figure was read on its source page on or before 2 November 2026, and the quote next to it is copied from that page. Quotes from German, Polish and French sources are our translations; the original words are in the CSV. A few official sites block automated access, so we read those pages on the Internet Archive copy of the same address.
  • Our calculations. Percentage changes, national totals summed from regional rows and shares worked out from two published numbers are marked as our calculation.
  • IDPhotoBy data. Real customer orders and uploads only: orders paid with test codes, orders placed by our team and uploads from our own servers are excluded. The strict check is IDPhotoBy’s automated check after payment against the official rules of the chosen document — size and crop, head pose, expression, resolution and a single face. A photo can fail for several reasons at once. We do not see whether an authority later accepts a photo. Order figures cover 74 paid orders from 24 August to 1 November 2026; upload figures cover 1,435 uploads from 1 September to 31 October 2026 (UTC).
  • Independence. IDPhotoBy is a private online photo service, not affiliated with any government. Spotted an error or a newer figure? Tell us.
